Barcelona end the season with a breakfast and words of thanks from Koeman

Barcelona sealed third place on the final day of the LaLiga Santander season with a 1-0 win over Eibar. But it was on Sunday morning that Ronald Koeman and his staff brought their season to a close with a breakfast at the club's training ground.

The players, coaching staff and other staff members gathered for a breakfast to close the curtain on a disappointing campaign. The whole Barcelona squad was present with the exception of Pedri, who had been allowed to leave for his hometown of Tenerife earlier in the week.

At the end of the meal, Koeman spoke to his players with some anecdotal tales, a look back at the season and words of thanks to the squad and coaching staff for their work throughout the 2020/21 season. He also wished luck to those of his players going on to compete in various international tournaments this summer.

Koeman, much like a lot of his players, is uncertain about his future, and for a lot of them Sunday's breakfast will prove to be their final gathering at Barcelona.
