Harry Kane has already spoken to Man Utd and Man City players about summer transfer

Harry Kane reportedly wants to leave Tottenham this summer, with Manchester United and Manchester City two of the clubs interested.

Harry Kane has spoken with players from Manchester United and Manchester City regarding a possible move this summer, according to reports. Sky Sports claimed earlier this week that Kane had told Tottenham he wants to leave the club at the end of the season. The England captain is yet to win any silverware in his club career.

United, City, and Chelsea were the three Premier League clubs named who had made contact with Kane's representatives.

Tottenham want up to £150million for the striker, who still has three years remaining on his contract in north London.

United and City are both in the market for a forward and Kane's prolific season in front of goal has attracted both Manchester clubs to the 27-year-old.

And talkSPORT claim Kane has already sought advice from his England team-mates who play for United and City regarding a move to the north west.

Reporter Alex Crook claims City is Kane's preferred destination and cannot see the striker staying at Spurs following the publicity of his desire to leave.

"I don’t really see any other outcome now when Kane’s people have made it so public he wants to leave,” Crook said.

"Player power will win out here. I think he probably will end up at Man City. Manchester United is another possible destination.

"I know he has been speaking on international duty to players from both those clubs about relocating to the North West. That is how serious he is about getting this move.

"It will ultimately come down to how much money Daniel Levy can prise out of one of those two clubs. I would make Man City the favourites.”

Kane is level with Mohamed Salah in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot with two games of the season remaining.

United are interested in the England skipper despite penning Edinson Cavani down to a new deal last week.

Speaking on Reach PLC's Transfer Window podcast, Ian McGarry says "serious negotiations" have already started between the Red Devils and Kane.

"Now, Harry Kane confirmed our story by representatives briefing the media on Monday that Kane has asked to leave Tottenham and also that United, City and Chelsea are interested in signing him,” McGarry said.

"Our information is that United are the only club so far that have entered into serious negotiations with Kane representatives regarding a contract, which could be worth around £300,000-a-week, a substantial upgrade on what he earns at Tottenham Hotspur.”
