While this evening's FA Cup promised to be a cracker on paper, the first-half of Manchester City and Chelsea did little to excite fans watching at home.
One divisive talking point did emerge in the early stages of the Wembley showpiece however, with Fernandinho being accused of stamping on Blues midfielder Mason Mount.
Mount was left in a heap after a challenge by the 35-year-old in the 17th minute of the clash.
And Fernandinho appeared to try and jump over the Chelsea man, but ended up stamping on his face.
Mount made little fuss of the incident, despite small appeals to Mike Dean who waved away any punishment.

Fans, however, were baffled by the incident and VAR's failure to award a card.
"The fact Fernandinho doesn’t have even a yellow card at this point, after first stepping on Mount’s face and second going studs up on him, it’s a disgrace," one noted.
"Fernandinho stamps on Mount, then clears him out. No yellow," said another.
Not sure he meant to get Mount in the face, but the initial tackle by Fernandinho is surely a booking - tactical foul at its best.

"How Fernandinho is still on the pitch after this horrible stamp on Mount still baffles me," one wrote.
"Another poor performance from Mike Dean. Stamp by Fernandinho on Mount a clear red card," a fourth added.
"How was that Fernandinho stud on Mount's face not judged by VAR, even if it was, why wasn't there a card?" a fifth said.
The best action of the first-half came when Hakim Ziyech had the ball in the net.
But the former Ajax man was correctly adjudged to have been in an offside position.
City are hoping to continue their fine form, with the quadruple still in their sights.
Pep Guardiola's side made it through to the Champions League semi-final this week, and face Tottenham in the Carabao Cup final before the end of the season.
