Gareth Bale isn't in Real Madrid's plans for 2021/22

Gareth Bale has managed to recover his smile of late under Jose Mourinho, but that doesn't guarantee him a place in Real Madrid's squad for next season.
The Welshman has four goals and two assists in his last five Spurs appearances and on national team duty he could be seen talking animatedly with Thibaut Courtois.
Hours previously, the 31-year-old had appeared to indicate his plan to return to Real Madrid for next season to see out the remainder of his contract.
His agent later played down the notion that any such decisions had been taken, but word was out and it prompted the question of do Los Blancos want him back.
Everything points to a negative response to that question and, despite the year remaining on his deal at Real Madrid, the club see his time in an all-white strip as over.
The good news for Los Blancos is that, with Bale's performances finally picking up, it should be easier to sell him in the summer, whether to Tottenham or elsewhere.
If Real Madrid have a plan for Bale next season, it only involves getting his 30 million euro wages off the books.
