Hakim Ziyech is reportedly keen to meet with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia, with rumours beginning to surface about his immediate future at the club. Ziyech only arrived at Stamford Bridge in the summer, after agreeing a £37m deal with Ajax earlier in the year.

However, after impressing in pre-season, Ziyech picked up an injury in pre-season which saw him miss the opening weeks of the season.

The 27-year-old has played just 634 minutes in the league, registering one goal and three assists.

Ziyech was in and out of the lineup under Frank Lampard, but has fallen down the pecking order since he was replaced by Thomas Tuchel.

After starting against Wolves in the German’s first game, Ziyech is yet to play another Premier League minute and has been an unused substitute in the last two matches.

Speaking earlier this week, Tuchel admitted that Ziyech would need to adapt to the Premier League, after playing in the less intense Eredivisie.

“He's had a good week in training and we count on Hakim like everybody else, there are absolutely no doubts about that,” Tuchel said.

"We [previously] made decisions on other players – not against him – and tomorrow he will have the chance to show the same quality that he shows in training, the same determination.

"For me, it's clear he needs to adapt to this kind of football, this kind of league.

“He's come from a strong Ajax squad but they were the benchmark in the league. And it's not the same intensity and it's not the same competition as it is here.

"But he's adapting, and he has the certain quality to decide matches and the certain quality to do the unexpected, which can give us an extra twist in any game and on any level.

"He proved that with Ajax and of course we want to push him to the same level of performance that he showed there, and this is our job.”

Ziyech was handed a start against Barnsley, but struggled against Championship opposition, losing the ball 25 times during his 70-minute showing.

Corriere dello Sport via Sport Witness claim he ‘wants to leae Chelsea’, with suggestions he doesn’t feel a part of the plan under Tuchel.

Serie A giants Milan and Juventus have both been linked with a move in recent days, with suggestions the two are monitoring his situation closely.

The report adds that Ziyech wants a meeting with Granovskaia in order to sort out his future at the club.

Ziyech has a contract at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 20205, meaning the Blues are unlikely to want to part with the winger, unless they can recoup most of the fee they paid to acquire his services.
