Alvaro Morata's first interview since leaving Atletico Madrid was highly anticipated, and it didn't disappoint, and his comments on Getafe even forced the club to respond to him on Twitter.
Morata was with the Madrid club during his younger years, and it seems as though the affection he holds for them remains high.
"Thanks to Getafe, I am what I am," Morata explained in an interview with Juanma Castano.
"The last shirt I will wear will be Getafe's."
Getafe's official Twitter account would then upload a picture of a young Morata wearing a Getafe shirt with the caption, 'We don't understand the commotion, for us you've never been at another team."
