Chelsea midfielder Jorginho admits a summer move to Arsenal was close.
The 28-year-old was on Arsenal's list of transfer targets in the summer as Mikel Arteta attempted to bolster his midfield options.
He insists he always wanted to remain at Chelsea and he has played an integral part in their promising start to the season.
Jorginho told ESPN Brazil: "I believe that every player is open to negotiations. So I believe there was something they talked about. And in the end it was decided that I remain here.
"Now my head is here and we're going to do a great job with Chelsea, which I always wanted to do."
