Jovic could face six months in prison

Luka Jovic has found himself in trouble again. The Real Madrid forward could be facing a prison sentence for violating Serbia's coronavirus quarantine protocol.
Since joining the club in 2019 from Eintracht Frankfurt, the forward has made more headlines for his off-field antics than for what he has done on the pitch.
According to Serbian agency Tanjug, Jovic is now facing six months in prison for having violated protocol in March, when he returned home to his native country despite Real Madrid's players being in quarantine.
The Serbian prosecutor's office claim that he didn't comply with the required health protocol upon his arrival.
Serbian law requires for the accusation, presented by the prosecutor's office, to be confirmed by a judge. That should, in principle, happen this Friday.
Jovic had to pay a fine of 30,000 euros that, as reported by RTS, would have helped to soften the punishment sought by the prosecutor's office.
