It's safe to say Barcelona were not pleased with referee Carlos del Cerro Grande after he sent Clement Lenglet off against Celta Vigo.

The Frenchman was shown a second yellow card for putting his arm across Denis Suarez just before half time to reduce Barcelona to 10 men.

After minutes of protests by Barcelona players on the pitch, including a pleading Lionel Messi and a bemused Gerard Pique, Del Cerro Grande stuck by his decision and Lenglet left the action.

Once the half-time whistle had blown, Messi and Pique confronted the referee in the tunnel at Balaidos, with the altercation captured by Movistar's cameras.

Ronald Koeman joined his two senior players in expressing his frustrations at the official's decision.

During the discussions, Del Cerro Grande explained to the trio why Lenglet was sent off, reproducing the move the defender made with his arm towards Denis' face.
