Manchester United are interested in signing both Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish in the summer transfer window.

Manchester United could have a secret weapon in their ranks when it comes to signing both Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish this summer. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to bring both players to Old Trafford as he looks to close the gap on Liverpool and Manchester City.

Dortmund are playing hard ball over Sancho and are demanding a fee of over £100million for the England winger.

United chief Ed Woodward also wants to bring in Grealish to add depth in midfield.

But historically the Red Devils have never spent more than £150m in a summer which would have to be topped to land both Sancho and Grealish.

United may have a way of raising the funds to make it happen though.

The Manchester Evening News claims Dean Henderson could be the key to the transfer business Woodward and Solskjaer are able to complete.

The goalkeeper could leave Old Trafford id he has not given the chance to become the first-choice ahead of David De Gea at the club.

Solskjaer admitted just last week it would be hard to keep both as well as Sergio Romero this summer.

Another loan could be a solution but if United want to get Sancho and Grealish they could opt to sell Henderson.

They could also benefit down the line if they include either a buyback or first refusal clause.

Henderson becoming first-choice at United would be seen as risky as he has limited experience despite impressing for Sheffield United in the Premier League this season.

De Gea must improve whatever the Red Devils decide because the Spaniard has made key errors in big matches throughout the last campaign.

Dortmund remain adamant that Sancho isn't going anywhere this summer.

Sporting director Michael Zorc said: "We plan on having Jadon Sancho in our team this season, the decision is final. I think that answers all our questions.

"Last summer, we adjusted Jadon's salary to match the development of his performances. So in context, we had already extended his contract until 2023 back then."

Meanwhile, Paul Merson thinks United should forget Sancho and try and sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane instead.

"Manchester United should forget Jadon Sancho and sign Harry Kane instead – it would make them title contenders," Merson told the Daily Star.

"With Sancho, it’s a transfer saga that’s dragging on now, and I keep on weighing it up thinking: ‘Is this what United really need?’

"They’ve got Mason Greenwood, who’s going to be a star. Marcus Rashford is only going to get better and better.

"But while Anthony Martial lets nobody down, I think they need an out and out centre forward.

"With Sancho, where is everyone going to play? Do they leave Greenwood out? I just think with £100m, why don’t you go and get Kane from Tottenham?

"Over 38 games, Harry Kane will score more goals for you than Sancho. I think they have a chance of winning the Premier League if he goes there."
