Manchester United look set to wear their new away kit during their Europa League semi-final against Sevilla on Sunday after the La Liga outfit leaked an image of it by mistake.

The adidas strip is a greenish grey colour and has already been spotted in a sports store in France, suggesting the previous leaks are indeed accurate.

The strongest hint that United will wear the kit RheinEnergieSTADION came from their opponents themselves prior to the clash.

Sevilla posted an official kit list on their website which featured United's new grey away jersey, although it looks darker in the image than elsewhere.

Adidas signed a £750m deal to manufacture Manchester United's kit over the course of a decade back in 2015.

The huge sum involved is only £40m less than the Glazer family paid for the club in 2005.

But Man Utd fans on Twitter were left somewhat uninspired by the new offering, with some labelling it boring.

"How we going to see each other in that?" joked one fan in reference to Sir Alex Ferguson's excuse that their grey jersey made it difficult for United players to pick each other out in a 6-3 defeat to Southampton in 1996.

"That Chevy Logo kills our Jerseys," complained another.

"Thought it was gonna be olive green. Well guess there won't be kit bought for me this season because they all just looks horrible.

"Bummer since i wanted 7 if Sancho signs," tweeted a third.

Meanwhile, former United striker Dimitar Berbatov has warned Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over his team selection for the Sevilla game.

"If you meet a team that is as good as you and your players are suffering fatigue, you are going to be in trouble," he said.

"It’s interesting to see Ole rely on this XI, and it shows these are the main guys, with some exceptional talent.

"Other players are getting chances, but there is a clear hierarchy now between starters and subs."
