Gabriel Jesus has become a key player for Manchester City - but why did he split up with his model girlfriend this year?
Gabriel Jesus joined Manchester City back in 2017 and reportedly started dating Fernanda Queiroz last summer. Like Jesus, Queiroz is also from Brazil, but the couple’s relationship ended earlier this year.
According to the The Sun, she split with the City star just months after moving into his Chesire home.
A source told the newspaper Jesus decided to end the relationship to focus on his career.
“She is in pieces. He’d told her that he loved her and that she was the one,” the source said.
“Then after she arrived back in Brazil he called to say it was over.

“He says he doesn’t want to be tied down and wants to concentrate on his career.”
Manchester City return to Champions League action against Real Madrid in the second leg of their last 16 clash on Friday night.
Pep Guardiola’s side take a 2-1 lead into the match, with Jesus among the goalscorers in the first leg.
“I don’t think it is my best performance,” Jesus said.
“It was a top game. I scored and helped the team and that’s why people say that.
“They played so good. It is so difficult to go there and play against them.
“We suffered in the first 15-20 minutes and after we played well. We started to play our football and after we came back and could have scored three.
“We played so good with the ball, but without the ball we played one of the best games I have seen since I came to play here.”
City may have the advantage but Jesus says his side will need to deliver another big performance as the tie could turn at any moment.
He added: “Real Madrid have a lot of top players and the second leg is going to be so difficult for both teams.
“Anything can happen. At home we can control he game, but we have to know they can beat us.
“We have to play good again and win the game again.”
