Why Man Utd must be informed if Dortmund bid for potential Jadon Sancho replacement
If Borussia Dortmund attempt to secure Memphis Depay as Jadon Sancho's replacement, Manchester United must be informed due to a clause in the Lyon star's contract

Manchester United continue their pursuit of number one transfer target - Borussia Dortmund flyer Jadon Sancho.
The Red Devils are ready to break the bank to bring the England international to Old Trafford, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to work with the 20-year-old following his Bundesliga exploits.
Dortmund, in turn, are looking for a replacement and have already compiled a hefty list of targets for the coming months.
One of those, according to Bild, is Lyon hitman and former United star Memphis Depay.
The Dutchman struggled in the Premier League but has rebuilt his career in France in recent years.
Lyon forward Memphis Depay could be heading to Dortmund
Depay was unable to guide Lyon to the Champions League this term, which has left him eyeing a move elsewhere.
But should Dortmund bid, United will need to be informed.
That's because United put a buy-back clause in the deal which saw Depay leave Old Trafford.
While the Red Devils don't get first refusal on the attacker, they must be notified if another club makes an offer for his services.
Dortmund are being tipped to spend £41m on the 26-year-old.
"It's true that Manchester United have a priority to buy back Memphis," Lyon chief Juninho told OLTV last year.
"These things exist in football. But until now, we've not received anything on Memphis.
"Each time there's only a year left on a contract, the conversation over a renewal becomes rather difficult. But I think that he's really happy in Lyon at the moment."
Manchester United are leading the race for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho
Lyon star Moussa Dembele has been linked with United in recent months.
But Juninho has also previously said the player is likely to stay.
"It's also the same with Moussa Dembele, but the president and those that know football are conscious that, if you want to start winning titles again, to fight in the Champions League and in Ligue 1, it's important to keep players like that in the squad for a long time.
"For the moment, nothing is being done concerning Memphis. We'll start discussing a contract extension by the end of the year."
