James Rodriguez shows his loyalty to Porto and dismisses Benfica rumours

After having been recently linked with a summer transfer to Benfica, James Rodriguez has once again shown his loyalty to Porto, with the Oporto club publishing a picture of the Colombian midfielder playing with his children whilst wearing a club shirt.
The strong relationship between James' agent, Jorge Mendes, and Benfica had set speculation alight that the Colombian could return to Liga NOS in the summer, although it was recognised there was a huge fiscal disparity between what the club could afford and what salary the player would demand.
Yet, with a message posted on Porto's official social media accounts which read 'James, always one of ours' it seems as though there is little possibility of the aforementioned deal happening.
James doesn't wish to play for any other Portuguese club than Porto and his exceedingly high wage demands are somewhat limiting the options he will have to move in the summer.
With that being said, his contract only has a single year to run in Madrid.
