The David de Gea joke that provoked an awkward reaction from his girlfriend

Spanish singer Edurne, the partner of Manchester Untied goalkeeper David de Gea, made an appearance on late night TV, where there was an awkward joke about the shot-stopper's performances.
She brought a toy version of De Gea along with her during the appearance on 'La Resistencia' as a gift, something most interviewees do.
One of the show's collaborators, Grison, asked if the doll came with glasses and a cane, suggesting that De Gea is blind after having made a few high-profile errors while representing the Spanish national team.
There was an awkward silence before the main presenter, David Broncano, moved the conversation on.
"I didn't know they made dolls of footballers," he said.
