Liam Gallagher has hit out at the design of Manchester City’s 2020/21 ‘leaked’ third kit with a bizarre reaction.

The former Oasis singer was left disgusted by the new design and ordered them to be ‘sent to Wuhan’ before swiftly deleting his tweet.

He posted: "Who ever is responsible for that new Man City kit needs putting on the nxt flight to WUHAN and who ever buys it needs to be on the 1 after c’mon you should f***ing know LG x"

Many fans are seemingly not happy with the white and light blue paisley design - although there is no confirmation this will be the official kit.

When a fan asked him whether he likes the kit, the renowned City fan replied: "Keep it simple mate, it's not hard."

The ‘leaked’ picture of City’s supposed third kit made by Puma comes from FootyHeadlines.

They claim Puma have explained the design was influenced by Manchester’s legendary music scene.

”Manchester’s music scene has always been an influence on other bands worldwide,” Puma allegedly state.

"The iconic TV program “Top of the Pops” was run by the BBC, from 1964 – 2006, originally recorded in the city itself.

Manchester City's 'leaked' third kit will certainly attract attention next season

"The Man City 20-21 third kit takes inspiration from the Paisley floral pattern which was intrinsically associated to the “Brit Pop” music scene of the 1960s and 1990s."

Elsewhere, Liam’s brother Noel, also an avid City fan, took aim at the Premier League’s decision not to have curtailed the season.

"As Liverpool are 25 points clear, not a great deal,” he said.

“I think it should have been voided weeks ago. Just give them the trophy, they’ve won it anyway.

“The cynic in me think if it wasn’t Liverpool going for the title, if it was City or Chelsea, it would have been voided already.

“I don’t think anybody should go up or go down [in the Championship and PL]. They should be looking towards next season now.

“If they try and finish this season then the next few seasons are going to be chaos.”
