Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona have all been linked with Jadon Sancho amid his fine form for Borussia Dortmund.

Manchester United’s view on Real Madrid and Barcelona joining the race for Jadon Sancho has surfaced, reports say. The England international has been in spectacular form over in Germany this season, scoring 14 goals and registering 15 assists in the Bundesliga alone. And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hellbent on bringing the 20-year-old to the Theatre of Dreams when the transfer window reopens.

According to Bleacher Report, United are unfazed by the prospect of Real Madrid and Barcelona joining the race for Sancho.

Los Blancos are admirers of the England international and still need to replace the goals and guile of Cristiano Ronaldo, who departed for Juventus back in 2018.

And Barcelona are fans of Sancho, too, despite the La Liga giants already having the likes of Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez at their disposal.

United are hoping they can land the Dortmund star this summer, 12 months after they first tried to lure him away from the Westfalenstadion.

And they’ve supposedly unconcerned about both Real and Barcelona at this stage.

United are prepared to give Sancho their iconic No 7 jersey made famous by the likes of George Best, Eric Cantona, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo over the years.

And they’re also willing to give the England international a huge pay packet in order to ensure they win the race for his signature.

Chelsea have been tipped to sign Sancho, too, despite agreeing to land Hakim Ziyech from Ajax.

But it appears United are currently frontrunners and confident they’ll land their man when the transfer window opens again.

That’s despite Ed Woodward recently warning fans that things won’t be business as usual at Old Trafford this summer.

"We will continue looking for more ways of supporting those in need for as long as the pandemic continues," said Woodward.

"Everyone is grappling with the economic realities of the pandemic and we are no different. The longer the crisis continues the greater the impact will be for every club, including ourselves.

"But it is important to acknowledge the part played by our successful business in allowing us to fulfil our social responsibilities. We have always believed that our commercial model gives us greater resilience than most clubs.

"We are eager to see the team return to the field as soon as we are advised it is safe to do so.

“And while it may be that games need to be played behind closed doors in the shorter term, we all recognise that football will not be fully back to normal until supporters are once again in attendance."

Meanwhile, Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth recently claimed Sancho was relaxed over his future.

“Two key points first of all with regards to Manchester United’s pursuit of Jadon Sancho,” he told Sky Sports.

“Do they want Jadon Sancho? Most definitely yes. Can they afford Jadon Sancho? You’d have to say yes as well.

“However, things have changed over the last six weeks with regard to the pandemic. Not only has society in general been affected but football as well and not least, finances.

“And the question you’d have to ask them is would United still pay Dortmund’s asking price, which will be between £100million and £120million

“Now the information I’ve been getting regarding Jadon Sancho himself is he’s very very relaxed about the situation. He’s in no desperate urge to leave Borussia Dortmund.

“And Dortmund’s stance in the same, they’re very relaxed about the situation.

“Earlier on in the month they did say they wouldn’t stand in Jadon Sancho’s way if he wanted to leave but only if the deal was right, not only for Dortmund but for Sancho himself.

“So as it stands there are still no favourites or frontrunners for Sancho.”
