Inter eye Werner as their primary target to replace Lautaro

Lautaro Martinez may end up at Barcelona in the next transfer window and Inter are already planning for the future should they lose the Argentine with Timo Werner their top target.

Before football was suspended due to the coronavirus, the RB Leipzig forward had bagged 21 goals in 25 Bundesliga matches, as well as four in eight Champions League games.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the German striker is Inter's primary target in the event Lautaro departs for the Blaugrana.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri are also interested in Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic despite his below-par season at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial could be another option to replace Lautaro, who has reportedly set his sights on joining Barcelona.

It remains to be seen whether the Catalan side can also reach an agreement with Inter over the Argentine's transfer.
