Harry Kane's future at Tottenham is uncertain and Manchester United could make a move for him this summer.

Harry Kane has been linked with a stunning £200m move to Manchester United, and has hinted he could leave Tottenham if things don’t work out. United are keen to land the striker and mould their new look side around him, but should he push for a move this summer or stay at Tottenham for another year?

Kane would command a record fee for a British player and the £200m figure has been touted in recent weeks after he dropped a hint saying he could leave Spurs if they don’t live up to him ambition.

And United would be able to pay that money should they been given more encouragement over a deal.

Kane has also been linked with Real Madrid and Barcelona in the past, but is the time right for him to make the move? Or could he still help Tottenham win trophies in the future.

Our team have their say on the England captain - and remember to have yours in the comment section below.

Harry Kane has to push for a move to Manchester United.

The England captain can be the catalyst to bringing success back to Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has no doubt improved United with the signings he has made so far, especially the arrival of Bruno Fernandes in January.

Fernandes and Kane could form a lethal partnership which helps United challenge for the Premier League title as early as next season.

Kane wants to win major silverware and would have a far greater chance of doing so at United than he would staying at Tottenham.

If he could stay fit, Kane would score a minimum of 30 goals a season for United and be the prolific goalscorer they have missed badly in recent years.

Harry Kane turns 27 this summer and it is approaching now or never time for him to make a move away from Tottenham but a big club on the continent and not Manchester United should be where he should look to for his next adventure.

If United was a guaranteed medal factory then maybe Old Trafford would work for him but it isn't so to broaden his football education he would be better served heading for Spain or Italy.

The success of his old Spurs teammate Kieran Trippier's move to Atletico Madrid is proof of what is possible. Kane has played almost 200 Premier League games for Spurs.

There is a wider world out there - and one which can make him an even better player.

It pains me to say it, but I think Harry Kane should move to Manchester United with Tottenham about to embark on a rebuild.

United look slightly ahead of where Tottenham need to be and are only going to get better after enduring several difficult years.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would build the team around Kane and his arrival would immediately turn them into title contenders, meanwhile Tottenham need four or five players before they are at the required level and you can sense the frustration on Kane's behalf.

He loves the Premier League, wants to break the records and win the title plus he's a homeboy and I've never sensed that he would seriously consider Real Madrid but it now appears he's ready to consider his future.

I think Kane pushes for a move this summer, should Manchester United be willing to stump up £200m.

There will surely be more than a mere two-way choice for Harry Kane if he is seriously thinking about where his future lies.

It will not be a case of either staying at Spurs or going to Manchester United.

Kane is one of the finest goalscorers in the world, and has long been coveted by many, if not all, of the major clubs of European football.

Real Madrid, for example, are confirmed long-term admirers.

Staying at Tottenham will hold some attraction. It is Kane's club, and the emotions do run deep.

The question for him will be whether ambitions of winning a trophy can be achieved there.

If the answer to that is no, he will make a switch, whether amid the current turbulence affecting all of life, or in a year's time, when the picture is clearer.

Right now, Manchester United appear to be the club with the most appetite to spend their wealth. But that is because they have the most desperate need of new players, having struggled for several years.

They are no more certain to win trophies in the next couple of seasons than Spurs.

If the move for Harry Kane is about high ambition, the destination should be a current champion club, Liverpool or Manchester City here in England, or Bayern Munich, Juventus , Barcelona and Real Madrid abroad.

It’s difficult not to get excited about the project on offer at Old Trafford if their transfer plans come to fruition.

The prospect of Harry Kane, Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish joining the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial screams trophy-winning material.

But winning silverware at Tottenham would surely mean more to Kane than picking it up at Old Trafford?

Kane will soon turn 27 so he is completely correct to start thinking about his future. While the initial signs under Jose Mourinho are far from promising, the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager has form in delivering trophies.

Sure, Tottenham haven’t exactly set the world alight in the transfer window but a decent summer of activity when the 2019/20 Premier League season does end could be the spark the club needs.

It’s a balancing act between potential regret and ambition - and the former must surely come into consideration.

He should give it at least another six months before thinking about pushing for an exit.

A dreadful start to next season and people would be more sympathetic to his position plus it’s not like this is his one and only chance to seal a move.
