The whole of Britain came together at 8pm on Thursday to show their support for the great work of the NHS workers.

Premier League stars got involved in the heartwarming nationwide celebration of the hard work those working in the NHS are doing in the 'Clap For Our Carers' campaign on Thursday evening. With the on-going coronavirus pandemic forcing Britain into lockdown, there has been even more pressure on those in the NHS.

Those working in the NHS have been praised for being on the frontline, risking their lives to help fight the battle.

But there was a special moment across Britain on Thursday when those in isolation and distancing in their homes stepped outside onto the streets with their neighbours to show their appreciation.

And a number of Premier League stars were seen to be joining in, including Jamie Vardy and his entire family.

The Leicester forward posted a video on Twitter, along with the simple captain: "#clapforourcarers."
