Manchester United are ready for a busy summer transfer window.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows he needs to sell numerous players this summer, former Old Trafford ace Paul Ince claims. The Red Devils are ready for a busy summer transfer window. United are looking to make three signings at the end of the season with the Red Devils hoping to challenge for the Premier League title next time out.

Jack Grealish of Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho are targets for Solskjaer.

And Ince has backed United to spend big in the summer, however, the Old Trafford hero says Solskjaer will also get rid of numerous players.

“There are players who Ole will still feel should not be there next year. There will be more players leaving and more coming in,” Ince told Goal.

“I think you have to get the right balance. You can’t always go too young.

“You need a right balance of experience and youth and there is still a long way to go to match Manchester City and Liverpool.

“They are going in the right direction and the quicker they bring in those players then the quicker that is achieved.”

United signed Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo in the January transfer window, with the pair impressing at Old Trafford.

Red Devils fans are dreaming of Fernandes playing alongside Paul Pogba under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

And former United striker Dimitar Berbatov says Solskjaer must keep hold of Pogba as he'd form a formidable partnership with Fernandes.

"Once again there is a lot of talk about Paul Pogba and his future," Berbatov said.

"He hasn't played for a long time, people are asking questions of him: does he wants to play, how long will it take for him to return, when he comes back will he be able to play with Bruno Fernandes, how will he fit into the team - these are all unanswered questions that sooner or later we will find out.

"I want him to stay at United and I want to see him play alongside Fernandes and the team, if not there will always be a team waiting for Pogba, if that is Real Madrid, Juventus or someone else who knows, but he will fit in anywhere.

"As a player when you are in a position where big teams want you to play for them it's very flattering, it makes you feel special and you know that if things don't work out in your current situation there is always someone there for you and that puts your mind at ease, but at the same time it isn't peaceful and you have decisions to make."
