Shaun Brisley to miss out for Valiants

Shaun Brisley will once again miss out when play-off hopefuls Port Vale take on Crawley.

Brisley, who has been nominated for the PFA Player of the Month award for February after some superb defensive displays, remains unavailable with a knee problem.

Jake Taylor (ill) and Cristian Montano (back) missed the clash against Cheltenham but manager John Askey hopes the pair will both be fit for Saturday.

Mark Cullen passed a late fitness ahead of the Robins game and will hope to lead the line once more.

Ollie Palmer has missed the last few weeks with niggling injuries and could miss out for Crawley.

Ricardo German scored his first league goal of the season on his first league start and could keep his place in attack.

Tom Dallison remains a long-term absentee with an unspecified injury.

Reece Grego-Cox sustained an unspecified injury against Exeter two weeks ago and missed the 3-0 win over Oldham.
