Brentford skipper Pontus Jansson could return to contention for the home game against Sheffield Wednesday.
Centre-half Jansson has been sidelined since early January due to a hip problem, but has returned to training and is closing in on a return to action.
Boss Thomas Frank has confirmed midfielder Mathias Jensen is at least another week away after missing the last three matches.
Sergi Canos, Ellery Balcombe, Josh Clarke and Nikos Karelis are all still out.
Wednesday will be without midfielder Kieran Lee, who sustained a groin strain in the midweek FA Cup defeat to Manchester City.
Defender Julian Borner is expected to be available after being substituted at half-time against City due to a tight hamstring.
Midfielder Massimo Luongo could return after successive muscle injuries, but will be monitored having been out for two months.
Moses Odubajo (groin) could also be back in contention, but winger Adam Reach (toe) is still unavailable.
