Healey continues hot streak as MK Dons see off Bolton

Rhys Healey scored for the fifth consecutive league game as MK Dons beat Bolton 1-0 at Stadium MK.
The visitors rarely threatened as they suffered their fourth consecutive league defeat and remain firmly rooted to the bottom of the League One table.
Carlton Morris should have given Russell Martin’s side the lead after Alex Gilbey’s cut-back found the Norwich loanee inside the Bolton box, but his first-time effort was blocked.
Keith Hill’s men threatened shortly after the interval when Ali Crawford’s neat through-ball sent Daryl Murphy in on goal, but the veteran forward’s left-footed effort skipped inches wide of goal.
MK broke the deadlock in the 68th minute after Gilbey sent Healey through on goal and the former Cardiff man slotted home with his left foot for his 11th goal of the season.
Dennis Politic threatened a leveller for the visitors five minutes from time with a close-range effort that forced goalkeeper Lee Nicholls into a save to secure Martin’s men a third consecutive league win.
