McCallum winner helps Barnet pile more misery on Chorley

Vanarama National League bottom side Chorley are without a win in 11 games after Paul McCallum fired Barnet to a 1-0 win at Victory Park.
Streatham-born striker McCallum stuck the knife into the basement boys with a goal inside the first two minutes, the Solihull loanee tapping home from three yards after Matt Urwin saved from Simeon Akinola.
McCallum then forced a good save from Urwin before Chorley improved and began to stand up to their opponents.
Alex Kiwomya fired straight at Scott Loach while Martin Smith was unlucky not to find a team-mate’s boot with a cross that cut through the Barnet box.
Urwin had to palm an Akinola free-kick onto the crossbar in the 56th minute as Barnet pushed for a second, but McCallum’s early strike was enough for the Bees.
