Manchester United star Paul Pogba has been tipped to quit Old Trafford in the summer.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted Paul Pogba may have played his final game for the club. The France international has been tipped to quit Old Trafford in the summer. Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola revealed this week he’s been in talks with Juventus over a possible return to Turin.

The United star, who has struggled with injuries this season, is determined to leave Old Trafford at the end of the campaign.

And Solskjaer has hinted Pogba may never play for United again.

When asked if Pogba will feature in a United shirt again this season, the Norwegian was unable to give an answer.

“Well, of course, I'd like to say that, as soon as he gets fit, he'll be good enough to play for the team,” Solskjaer said.

“I'm sure Paul's desperate to play for us again.”

Pogba last featured for United in their Boxing Day win against Newcastle at Old Trafford.

The 26-year-old, who underwent ankle surgery earlier this year, missed United’s winter break trip to Spain.

However, Solskjaer refused to give a reason why the France World Cup winner was absent.

Solskjaer said: “I don't have to justify every decision.

“He's been in and around here, and of course I okayed him doing his recovery somewhere else.

“As a player, the last thing you want to be is injured. Paul's a footballer and he wants to play football.

“He knows he has to work hard now to get back to his best. He's been out now for so long now, it's a challenge for him as well to get back into shape.

“Paul's an important player for us, but also we've also learned so much about the others.

“Some have really stepped up and taken on this responsibility and shown what they can be, so there's always a chance.”

Pogba’s agent Raiola will have left United chiefs rattled this week after once again discussing his client’s desire to leave Old Trafford.

He said: “I talk to Pavel Nedved and Juventus about many things, including Pogba and other players, as it is only right for a big club.

“You need to get information, see what’s happening, put down a few hypotheses, dream a little…

“Along with Juventus, there are other clubs in for Paul, but right now he is with Manchester United.

“What I can say is that, just like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul considers Italy to be his second home and he wouldn't mind returning to Juventus, but we’ll talk about it after Euro 2020.

“There’s nothing impossible in the transfer market, that has already been proved by Juve, PSG and Real Madrid.

“The achievement of impossible things is part of this business.”

United are back in action on Monday evening against Chelsea in the Premier League.
