Dennis Politic joins the party as Bolton face Wycombe

Dennis Politic is expected to be fit for Bolton’s Sky Bet League One clash with Wycombe.

The winger missed Tuesday’s Doncaster trip through illness but is now back in training.

Toto Nsiala will face checks after suffering a head injury in the 2-1 defeat at Coventry City.

Jack Hobbs and Kean Bryan are nursing minor knocks, while Ronan Darcy will miss out with a foot issue.

Fred Onyedinma could make his first Wycombe start since October, having returned to action after a toe injury.

The 23-year-old midfielder came off the bench in Tuesday’s 1-0 loss against Fleetwood and could now come into boss Gareth Ainsworth’s reckoning for a start.

Ainsworth could look to rotate his resources in light of the midweek defeat, with the likes of striker Adebayo Akinfenwa waiting in the wings for a start.

QPR loan forward Paul Smyth could be another to step up from the bench.
