Kwame Thomas in contention to make Burton debut against Gillingham

Burton could hand a debut to new signing Kwame Thomas in Saturday’s Sky Bet League One clash at home to Gillingham.
The former England youth international striker was coming up through the ranks at Derby when Brewers boss Nigel Clough was manager and has now signed a deal with Burton until the end of the season.
A lack of match action means he is likely to only be fit enough for a place on the bench if Clough opts to include him in the mid-table meeting.
There was also good news on the injury front for Burton as midfielder Ben Fox returned to training following a serious knee injury – but he is some way from making his competitive return.
Gillingham travel to the Pirelli Stadium one place and two points behind Burton.
Manager Steve Evans will be hoping to be able to call on the services of on-loan Southampton defender Thomas O’Connor following a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, winger Jordan Graham is in line for his debut after joining on a loan deal from Wolves for the rest of the campaign.
Having not played since beating Shrewsbury on January 29, Evans will be hoping the rest has given his squad fresh impetus to end the season well.
