Tom Pope returns from suspension for Port Vale

Tom Pope will be available for Port Vale in their Sky Bet League Two clash against Exeter.

The striker missed his side’s 3-0 defeat against Swindon after serving a one-match ban for improper comments made on Twitter.

Jake Taylor joined Vale on loan from Nottingham Forest last week, but he remains sidelined with a knee problem.

Emmanuel Oyeleke is back in training, but the game against Exeter will come too soon for the midfielder.

Winger Brennan Dickenson is set to return to the Exeter squad.

The 28-year-old, a new arrival from MK Dons, was absent for his side’s 0-0 draw against Colchester on Saturday.

Nicky Ajose might drop to the bench having only just returned from a spell on the sidelines, paving the way for Lee Martin to start.

Alex Fisher is set to be involved again as he continues his comeback from injury.
