Liverpool, Chelsea battling for RB Leipzig's Timo Werner

Liverpool and Chelsea are both believed to be interested in signing RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner, the Mirror reports.
The £60 million-related goal scorer is said to already be involved in negotiations with Chelsea over a potential deal. Leipzig will try to keep hold of him until the summer transfer window, but once Liverpool caught wind of Chelsea's interest, their own pursuit of the player began.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is said to be a big admirer of Werner, but whether that will translate into a legitimate offer remains to be seen.
