Grimsby boss Ian Holloway could name two debutants in his first home game in charge of the club in the Sky Bet League Two clash with Exeter on Saturday.
The Mariners signed midfielder James Tilley from Brighton this week while fellow January signing defender Anthony Glennon is yet to feature for Holloway’s side.
Harry Davis, who came off with a knock last week against Leyton Orient, could be fit again while Jordan Cook (calf), Matt Green (groin) and James Hanson (calf) are also in contention once again.
Luke Waterfall will serve the second game of his three-match ban after his sending off at Mansfield earlier this month.
Exeter manager Matt Taylor could hand a start at left-back to club captain Dean Moxey who returned to the squad last week after a shoulder injury.
Fellow defender Craig Woodman (knee) is not likely to return while Jack Sparkes (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
Midfielder Lee Holmes (thigh) and defender Alex Fisher (groin) are also on the list of long-term absentees.
Nigel Atangana will serve the last game of his suspension after his red card at Forest Green on New Year’s Day.
