Jose Mourinho's Attempt At Taking A Selfie With A Fan Didn't Go Well

Jose Mourinho failed to get a point against Liverpool on Saturday evening and before kick off he failed to take a selfie with a fan in the stands, instead just taking a picture of himself.

Spurs were the latest team to try, and fail, to stop Liverpool unbeaten run, which now lasts over a year and 38 Premier League games, which equates to a whole season.

Perhaps it was never going to go well for the north London club though with their manager not even managing to take a selfie with a fan. Just before kick off the fan passed Mourinho his phone to take a picture but the boss couldn't work out how to get them both in the photo, so just took a picture of himself.

The first 45 minutes were far from picture perfect for Spurs either and the decision to play five defenders at the back, including giving Japhet Tanganga his league debut, seemed to invite the league leaders onto them.

Tanganga was in the action right from kick off as he blocked twice early on from point blank range to deny the Reds the lead.

However they couldn't hold on until half time, with the pressure eventually telling, as Roberto Firmino but Liverpool ahead after 37 minutes.

After the break the home side came out with a renewed energy and looked much more likely to get back into the game.

They had two brilliant chances through Son Heung-min and Giovani Lo Celso but both men couldn't find the target when well placed around the six yard area.

Son blasted over after being found by Lucas Moura and Lo Celso somehow hit his effort wide after a perfect cross from Serge Aurier.

The result leaves Spurs nine points outside the top four and their battle to get into the Champions League places is made even more difficult with Harry Kane out injured until April.

For Klopp and his players it was another three points on the way to what looks like a certain title precession.
