TOTTENHAM will debut a brand new beer ahead of their home clash with Liverpool – but Jose Mourinho will be praying his side don’t bottle it.

After an initial upturn in fortunes following the Portuguese’s arrival in November, the North London outfit have slumped in recent weeks.

Tottenham will hand a debut to a brand new beer at their stadium tomorrow

They head into the game against the Premier League leaders with just one win in five in all competitions.

And to make matters worse, Mourinho will now be without star striker Harry Kane until April through injury.

However, supporters will have an opportunity to drown their sorrows when Jurgen Klopp’s men come to town tomorrow supping down a few “One of our Own” beers.

A statement from Spurs today announced they have joined forces with its official craft beer supplier, Beavertown, for their first home game of 2020.

It said: “Brewed and sold exclusively in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, ‘One Of Our Own’ (4.9% ABV) has its roots in the classic British IPA, rebuilt with Beavertown’s own modern hoppy DNA, made up of purely European hops (Callista, Mandarina Bavaria and Barbe Rouge), with notes of stonefruit and rounded with hints of malt-sweetness.

“‘One Of Our Own’ is produced using the microbrewery operated by Tottenham-based Beavertown inside the Club’s new home – a world first for any football stadium.”

Beavertown’s marketing director Tom Rainsford, a Spurs fan, came up with the name.

He explained: “Beavertown's Neck Oil is already a half-time favourite, and we wanted to add to this by offering something new at the start of 2020.

“Supporting a club is in your bones and this beer feels the same. It’s familiar, yet distinct. A satisfying pint that makes you feel at home.”

The new offering may enjoy a spectacular start tomorrow if Spurs can pull off a hug win.

Jurgen Klopp’s side arrive in the capital have dropped just two points all season.

But if Mourinho can inspire his men to victory then there is no doubt the “One Of Our Own” will well-and-truly be flowing.
