Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is willing to let three players from his first-team squad leave during the January transfer window, as Olivier Giroud, Pedro and Marcos Alonso consider leaving Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard wasn’t expecting to be too busy in the January transfer market. But, after the Blues’ transfer ban was lifted, he may be busier than he first thought when he arrived at Stamford Bridge. With possible transfers on the horizon, Lampard is willing to let three of his first-team players leave this month.

The futures of Olivier Giroud, Pedro and Marcos Alonso appear to be uncertain, with the boss open to offers, according to Goal.

Giroud wants to leave the club in search of regular first-team football.

He wants to be in contention to make the France Euro 2020 squad, but has started just two Premier League matches this season.

The striker has largely played second-fiddle to Tammy Abraham this season, and has failed to even make the matchday squad for Chelsea in their last six league fixtures.

Inter Milan are interested in signing Giroud in January, while Ligue 1 sides Lyon and Bordeaux are also monitoring the situation.

Meanwhile, Spaniard Pedro has fallen out of favour under Lampard, and he’s only started four Premier League matches.

The winger has only played for six minutes in the last seven league matches, and didn’t even start in the Carabao Cup fourth round tie against Manchester United.

Pedro has recently revealed that he dreams of a move back to Barcelona, where he spent 11 years.

But, it’s unlikely that Ernesto Valverde would be interested in signing the Spaniard.

Instead, he’s been touted for a move to the MLS in the USA.

New York City are considering a move for the forward, while David Beckham’s Inter Miami are also targeting Pedro.

Marcos Alonso was used heavily by Lampard in the first quarter of the season, and started six league matches in a row between September and October.

But, he’s only been in the squad once since the start of November, with Cesar Azpilicueta seemingly preferred at left-back.

The 29-year-old won the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League with Chelsea since signing for them in Antonio Conte’s first season in charge, in 2016.

Inter Milan are also believed to be interested in signing Alonso.

Conte is currently in charge at Inter, and he reportedly wants to rekindle his relationship with Alonso in Serie A.

But, the Blues want £35m for the Spanish left-back, as he still has three-and-a-half years left on his current contract.

Meanwhile, Lampard is reportedly interested in signing Lyon striker Moussa Dembele, if Giroud leaves the club.

Lyon have told Chelsea that the former Celtic star isn’t for sale, but the Blues could tempt the Ligue 1 side to let him go with a big enough bid.
