Ashley Williams banned for Shrews match

Bristol City will be without defender Ashley Williams through suspension for the FA Cup-third round tie against Shrewsbury.
The veteran Welshman was sent off early in the first half of the 4-0 Sky Bet Championship defeat by Brentford on New Year’s Day, so serves a one-game ban.
Midfielder Korey Smith returned to the starting line-up against the Bees, but Adam Nagy could come back in along with Spanish forward Rodri if head coach Lee Johnson considers fresh changes.
Defender Nathan Baker continues his recovery from an unspecified problem, along with midfielder Sammie Szmodics (knee).
Shrewsbury will not be able to field on-loan City goalkeeper Max O’Leary.
The Irish keeper, 23, has impressed for the League One side, but has been refused permission to play in the cup tie, with his parent club said to be considering a January recall.
Veteran Joe Murphy is set to come into the team, while the Shrews confirmed midfielder Luke McCormick and Louis Thompson have both had loan spells cut short and returned to their respective parent clubs, Chelsea and Norwich.
Ousmane Fane, meanwhile, has left the club by mutual consent to return home to France for personal reasons.
