Rowett could shake up Millwall squad for FA Cup clash with Newport

Millwall boss Gary Rowett may choose to freshen his squad for Saturday’s FA Cup third round home tie against Newport.
Rowett’s side have lost just once in their last 11 games, which suggests Newport will have their work cut out despite impressive cup form across the last two seasons that has seen them beat Leicester, Leeds and Middlesbrough.
Rowett could opt to rest the likes of Shaun Williams and Jed Wallace, who have been virtual ever-presents this season under his command.
And he will also look at players like Billy Mitchell, who might be among those to start against the Welsh club.
Newport will have Mark O’Brien and Kyle Howkins back in the selection mix for this weekend after completing concussion protocols.
But County, who have not won for 10 games in Sky Bet League Two, will be without an injured Robbie Willmott and Dan Leadbitter remains sidelined.
Mickey Demetriou and Joss Labadie are doubts for the cup clash and Danny McNamara is a confirmed absentee.
McNamara, on loan at Newport from Millwall, has not been given permission by the Lions to play.
