Macc manager Daryl McMahon reportedly resigns ahead of Cambridge clash

Struggling Macclesfield could be without a manager when they face Cambridge after Daryl McMahon reportedly resigned on Thursday.
The club have yet to confirm that McMahon has left his post, although frustrations over a lack of resources is supposedly the reason behind the decision.
The Silkmen are without a win in 12 games after drawing 2-2 at Port Vale on New Year’s Day.
Right-back Theo Vassell is doubtful after his recent injury struggles.
Cambridge will be without suspended midfielder Reggie Lambe.
The Bermuda international was shown a red card during the 3-2 defeat to Mansfield earlier this week and now serves a three-match ban as a result.
Samir Carruthers could return to the squad after missing the previous two fixtures due to undisclosed personal reasons.
Leon Davies (broken nose) and Kyle Knoyle (dislocated shoulder) are likely to watch from the sidelines.
