Quigley strike helps Barrow edge past AFC Fylde

Barrow remain top of the Vanarama National League after defeating struggling AFC Fylde 1-0 to extend their unbeaten run to 10 games.
Neither club could break the deadlock in the first half, with Barrow almost losing defender Connor Brown after he collided with the advertising boards and was briefly treated by medics.
Scott Quigley eventually handed the visitors the lead six minutes after the break, rounding Fylde keeper Sam Hornby after capitalising on a defensive mistake.
Fylde finished the game with 10 men after substitute Matthew Kosylo, who came on after 63 minutes, was sent off in stoppage time for an off-the-ball incident.
Jim Bentley’s team are now without a win in six games and sit 21st in the table.
