Micky Mellon could shuffle his pack for Tranmere’s clash with Blackpool

Tranmere manager Micky Mellon could ring the changes for the visit of Blackpool.
Winger Corey Blackett-Taylor is available to return from suspension.
Mellon is hoping for good news on injured duo Kane Wilson and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson.
The Rovers manager is questioning the need for reinforcements ahead of the January transfer window after his side’s 4-2 Boxing Day defeat at Burton left them just two points above the relegation zone.
Former Bolton and Sheffield United goalkeeper Mark Howard looks set for a recall for Blackpool’s trip.
Manager Simon Grayson could turn to the 33-year-old after losing first-choice keeper Jak Alnwick with a bicep injury in his side’s 1-0 defeat to Accrington on Boxing Day.
That meant an unexpected senior debut for 20-year-old goalkeeper Jack Sims but the more experienced Howard is expected to start against Tranmere.
Grayson will also have to decide whether to bring in Sean Scannell, who was a replacement for winger Sullay Kaikai when he hobbled off with a recurrence of a pelvic issue against Stanley.
