Swansea are waiting to discover the extend of defender Mike Van der Hoorn’s knee injury ahead of Sunday’s visit of Barnsley in the Sky Bet Championship.
The former Ajax player was a late withdrawal for the Boxing Day defeat at Brentford after suffering a knee injury in the warm-up.
Wales defender Declan John is another doubt due to an ankle injury.
Defender Joe Rodon (ankle) and forward Jordon Garrick (hamstring) remain on the sidelines.
Barnsley could be without captain Alex Mowatt due to illness.
The midfielder missed training on Friday after leaving the field feeling unwell in the latter stages of Thursday’s draw with West Brom.
He is the latest Barnsley player to be hit by the virus after winger Mamadou Thiam and forward Patrick Schmidt both missed games in recent weeks.
Full-back Ben Williams was an unused substitute against West Brom after recovering from a muscle injury and could be in contention.
