Queen of the South battled to a first home win in six weeks by beating Arbroath 2-0.
Dan Pybus set them on their way with his first goal for the club midway through the first half.
The 22-year-old latched onto Stephen Dobbie’s ball and slotted past visiting keeper Derek Gaston.
Arbroath held firm until three minutes from time when the hosts grabbed a fortunate second.
Scott Mercer swung the ball into the box and it was turned into his own net by Ricky Little.
