Kevin Lokko salvages a point for Dover at Chorley

Dover continued their fine away record in the Vanarama National League following a last-gasp 1-1 draw at basement club Chorley.
The Whites came into the match with 22 points from 10 away games – the joint-most in the league – but looked to have suffered just their third defeat on their travels when Alex Newby fired Chorley ahead in the 73rd minute.
However, Kevin Lokko’s low strike earned a point for Dover with in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
Courtney Meppen-Walters had an early header cleared off the line and Alex Newby fired a volley over for Chorley, while Ricky Modeste curled over at the other end in a first half deprived of clear chances.
Newby looked to have secured Chorley’s fourth win in their last six league matches with low finish with 17 minutes remaining but Lokko’s late effort rescued Andy Hessenthaler’s side.
