Exeter boss Taylor facing goalkeeper selection dilemma against Northampton

Exeter manager Matt Taylor could have a tricky decision to make over who starts in goal for Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two home match with Northampton.
With first-choice Lewis Ward out with a broken arm, Jonny Maxted has been in possession of the jersey, but made an error in last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Hartlepool in the FA Cup.
And on Wednesday, South African goalkeeper Dino Visser kept a clean sheet and saved three penalties in a shoot-out win over Oxford in the Leasing.com Trophy.
It means Visser could start Saturday’s home fixture, while Alex Fisher will hope to feature after recently returning from a groin injury.
Northampton boss Keith Curle made a number of changes for Tuesday’s Leasing.com Trophy tie at Portsmouth and was left encouraged with the depth of his squad despite the 2-1 loss.
The Cobblers had been in FA Cup action two days earlier and it meant several youngsters were handed an opportunity at Fratton Park.
Full-back Joe Martin also made his first start in nearly two months and impressed before he was taken off after a blow to the head.
He is expected to be available for the trip to Exeter, with Curle again likely to boast a fully fit squad to pick from.
