Bristol City to assess Callum O’Dowda’s fitness ahead of Huddersfield clash

Bristol City will check on the fitness of Callum O’Dowda ahead of their home game against Huddersfield.
The midfielder had to be withdrawn due to a dead leg just before half time in the defeat at West Brom on Wednesday night after he was on the receiving end of a crunching tackle by Jake Livermore.
Taylor Moore (knee) will be back in the squad soon but fellow defender Tomas Kalas continues to struggle with his long-standing knee problem, which flared up again this month.
Korey Smith played the full 90 minutes on his return at The Hawthorns after seven months out with a broken bone in his foot so Robins boss Lee Johnson must decide if two starts in the space of four days is too much for the midfielder.
Huddersfield will be without the suspended Trevoh Chalobah on Saturday.
The midfielder, on loan from Chelsea, was sent off late on in the draw with Swansea and must now serve a three-match ban.
Danny Simpson is nearing a return after a hip problem and the Terriers will assess the right-back’s fitness.
However, Jaden Brown (ankle), Tommy Elphick (knee) and Collin Quaner (hip) are still out injured.
