Forest Green Rovers recorded their sixth away win in the league with a 4-2 victory at Leyton Orient, who had their interim manager Ross Embleton red-carded.
One-time Orient loanee Ebou Adams scored twice and Matt Stevens added another before half-time as Rovers ran amok before Matt Harrold and Jordan Maguire-Drew reduced the deficit after the break.
The hosts were denied a leveller when Josh Coulson was kept out by the woodwork but shortly after, substitute Junior Mondal scored in the 88th minute to settle the outcome.
Adams opened the scoring after 15 minutes when he fired in from six yards after O’s keeper Dean Brill had spilled a shot. The aftermath of the goal saw Embleton dismissed from the dug-out following a verbal altercation with members of the visitors’ coaching team.
Adams added another after 33 minutes when he fired in a rebound and 10 minutes later, Stevens slid in a cross from Jack Aitchison.
Orient were given a boost when Harrold outjumped the visitors defence 10 minutes after the interval to head home a free-kick by substitute Maguire-Drew, who himself scored after 78 minutes to give O’s hope before Mondal had the final word.
