Sadio Mane Helps Kitman Carry Equipment Off Senegal Team Bus

Sadio Mane is one of the best footballers in the world on form right now but the Liverpool forward isn't about to start letting success go to his head.

Since moving from Southampton to Liverpool in 2016 the Senegal forward has become one of the Premier League's most talented players and in the last year he's become one of the world's best.

This season he's scored 11 goals in 17 games in all competitions for the Reds but he's not about to stop being humble. The 27-year-old is currently on international duty and he was videoed helping the kitman carry water.

It's not the most grandiose of gestures but the simplicity of it is what makes it so brilliant, Mane isn't going to get loads of plaudits for doing it but still happily picks up the water without thinking.

There's no pressure on the forward to do so, his teammate walked straight past, and it is likely the kitman's job to sort the equipment off the bus but still Mane is happy to chip in, what a guy.

It's not the first time in recent history that the former Red Bull Salzburg winger has shown his humble side off the pitch either.

Earlier this season, after Jurgen Klopp's team beat Burnley in their fourth league win in a row, video emerged of the forward helping to clean a mosque.

It's not apparent when the video is taken from but once again it's Mane chipping in when he doesn't need to and isn't going to get any praise if it wasn't for someone else choosing to film it.

Mane and his national teammates have just started qualification for the 2021 African Cup of Nations, which will take place in Cameroon.

Senegal won their first game 2-0 against Congo on Wednesday and they next play Eswatini on Sunday.

Whatever happens to Mane in the short, medium or long term future, no matter how much success he has, it's likely he'll continue to work hard and show humility on and off the pitch.
