Oscar Gobern netted against his former club as Dover ended Eastleigh’s six-match unbeaten run in the National League with a 3-1 home victory.
Gobern joined Dover on a free transfer in the summer and registered his first goal for his new club in the 17th minute with an effort from outside the box.
Jai Reason was twice denied by Eastleigh keeper Max Stryjek before the home side did double their lead on the half-hour when Inih Effiong claimed his eighth goal of the season and first in seven.
Tyrone Barnett reduced the arrears from close range in the 61st minute.
But after Gobern was pushed inside the box, Effiong stepped up to convert from the penalty spot 18 minutes from time as Dover won for the first time in five games.
