Inverness strengthened their hold on third in the Scottish Championship with a 2-0 victory away to Queen of the South.
Aaron Doran broke the deadlock for the visitors on the half-hour as he curled Roddy MacGregor’s assist into the bottom corner.
Queen of the South came close to scoring at the other end through efforts from Stephen Dobbie and Kevin Holt but were unfortunate to trail by the narrow scoreline at the break.
Holt fired a long-range strike over the crossbar six minutes into the second half as Queens continued to press for an equaliser, while Dobbie headed over from the centre of the box after 64 minutes.
But former Queen of the South loanee Nikolay Todorov added a second for Caley at the death to seal maximum points.
