Selection poser for Stevenage boss Mark Sampson

Mark Sampson has important selection decisions to make as rock-bottom Stevenage prepare to host fellow Sky Bet League Two strugglers Morecambe.
The caretaker Boro boss made three personnel changes for Tuesday’s clash at Swindon, dropping Luther James-Wildin, Michael Timlin and Jason Cowley but seeing his team lose 1-0 thanks to a late goal.
Midfielder Dean Parrett returned to action for the first time since the opening day of the season and will hope to keep his place after making an impact from the bench.
Guyana international Terence Vancooten – with Joel Byrom and Emmanuel Sonupe one of the new faces at Swindon – is an option after playing 85 minutes at the County Ground following his return from injury.
Second-bottom Morecambe will be without the suspended Lewis Alessandra for the basement battle.
The Shrimps’ top scorer, with five goals to his name, was sent off right at the end of Tuesday’s 2-0 home defeat by Forest Green and must serve a one-match ban.
Defender Jordan Cranston will hope to be included after missing out against Rovers despite returning to eligibility in midweek following a three-game suspension.
A-Jay Leitch-Smith (hamstring) and Andrew Tutte (ankle) are still unavailable as Jim Bentley’s men try to avoid being leapfrogged by their hosts.
