Joel Grant earns point for Plymouth at Swindon

Joel Grant scored a late equaliser to save a point for Plymouth as they came from behind to draw 1-1 at Swindon.
Grant struck 14 minutes from time to cancel out Eoin Doyle’s first-half opener.
In a first half of few chances, Doyle made it 1-0 in stoppage time after rushing onto a Jordan Lyden pass before dinking the ball over the onrushing Michael Peck.
Grant levelled with a composed finish from the left-hand side of the box to send the well-travelled Green Army into raptures behind the goal.
Plymouth will feel a share of the spoils were justified, given that Ryan Lowe’s side just about edged proceedings in the second half.
Zak Rudden and Jose Baxter both shot over the crossbar while Scott Wootton fired just wide prior to Grant’s strike.
Rudden also had Plymouth’s best chance in the first half, a minute before Doyle’s goal, when he shot straight at Steven Benda from close range.
For the hosts, substitute Kaiyne Woolery dragged a shot wide of the far post late on.
